Anstruther Marina

We bought a Kawasaki jet ski from Mark the owner after we met him at the 2019 boat show. He is a great source of knowledge. You can tell he really likes what he does and he took the time to talk to us to made sure we got the right craft that would do what we want and answered all our questions. He then made sure he gave us a great deal. He was super helpful at the boat show we came back after looking at all the completion and talked with Mark again to answer some more questions. We made sure we drove the extra distance to deal with him for our purchase. He is very low key and wants to make sure you know all the details about your purchase and are ready to go boating before you leave. The marina itself is a very nice location a bit off the beaten trail but worth while going there. There is even a small restaurant / ice cream shop/ store there that is open in the summer. Staff there is all really friendly and helpful. I would recommend going there.

Had a great experience with Anstruther Marina this week. We rented canoes for our Kawartha Highlands trip for 4 days and it was super easy. We got there and they made it very quick and easy to get on the lake.When we brought our canoe back, they were waiting for us at the dock (as you put your time of arrival in when you book them) and they asked us all about our trip!Also yummy Kawartha Ice Cream inside!!Thanks guys!

I picked up my trailer a couple days ago and I was amazed by the way Mark and his staff provided me with exceptional customer service.They started by asking me what pontoon I bought, then they set up the trailer to the size of the pontoon. Next, they connected the trailer to my car, and did all applicable safety checks.They do offer a wide variety of accessories such as ropes, fenders, etc. and I was blown away by their great pricing that I purchased all accessories here. Some accessories were last year's model and Mark was honest to make me aware of this and provide me with an additional discount on these items. It has been many years since I have experienced this kind of customer service (old school).Overall, it was a great experience for me and I could not be happier with their excellent pricing and customer service. I wish I had bought my pontoon (that is another story)! 5/5 stars!

Bought and picked up our new Legend tri-toon from Mark & Lee. Very knowledgeable. They helped guide us though a challenging time for anyone buying a boat. Service was excellent. Great recommendations on a boat to fit our needs. Great communication, easy to deal with and very fair pricing. We have bought 4 boats at different places over the years and this was by far the best we have dealt with. I would highly recommend Anstruther Marina.

We booked a canoe from them for the weekend. Specifically asked for a light one for portaging. We picked it up and it starting taking on water within 50' of the dock. Brought it back and the only replacement available (with a rack full right next to the attendant) was durable but over 80 lbs. We made due. Upon return, were we given a discount for our troubles? No. We were greeted with the requirement that we had to put it back on their rack or face an extra fee. Never will we rent from them again. Horrible service.

Excellent canoeing place! You rent the canoe (you book it before), and for a very reasonable price, you get a whole canoeing day in a very beautiful park.Looking forward to being there again!

I bought a UTV from anstruther marine. They were amazing people to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone.They truly are amazing people.

We have left phone messages, and stopped in twice now when they show they are open but door is locked, tried knocking, no one around. They have what we want in the showroom, just can't find anyone.

Late in summer of 2022 they rented us a boat. It was a cow on skates, could barely move through the water. Instead of working to resolve the issue they told us it was our fault and we didn't know what we were talking about. And then they refused to refund the cost of a boat pickup we didn't end up needing (due to refusing the rental). Unbelievable! While we were attempting to resolve this snafu they actually blocked our phone number; we only got through by calling from another number. Talk about crooked and dishonest!

We've worked with Mark and his team for many years now and the experience has been outstanding. From building the original docks we needed, to storing/securing them every year, to assistance with ice damage and repairing cribs.... even finding a dock that was cut loose this past fall (I still don't know how they found the missing ramp). Mark and his team are always there to help and you know that if you give them a call or an email you will get a prompt response and the help you need. Thank you Mark, Lee and everyone at anstruther marina. :)
